May 27, 2026
We honor the enduring legacy of Sardar Kuldeep Singh, who returned to Akal Purakh on May 27, 2026. A visionary leader and dedicated sewadar, his lifelong devotion to building and nurturing Panthic institutions will continue to inspire generations of Sikhs globally.
Throughout his life, Sardar Kuldeep Singh worked tirelessly to ensure that American and Canadian Sikhs could confidently understand, live, and practice the tenets of the Sikh faith, rooted in the teachings of the Holy scripture of Guru Granth Sahib.
His extraordinary leadership spanned multiple decades, from his early years to serving as the long-time President of the Sikh Youth Alliance of North America (SYANA) and the Founding Chairperson of the World Sikh Council – America Region. His pioneering efforts laid the foundation for essential organizations, inspiring Sikh Gurmat Camps, the annual International Sikh Youth Symposium, and bridging communities through interfaith and intra-faith dialogues as a trustee for SCIR. His quiet strength, devotion, and selfless service leave behind a beautiful legacy of active, engaged youth and a united community.
We offer our heartfelt prayers for Sukh (comfort and peace) to his family, relatives, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.
Simultaneously, we send our deepest thoughts and prayers for a full and complete recovery to his wife, who was injured in the same tragic accident.
May Akal Purakh bless the departed soul and give the community strength to carry forward his noble work.
